OMG I got Frontpaged on Digg....

Unbelievable...someone (not me) posted my video clip on Digg.com (my favorite website...where 90% of my blog's content comes from).

Anyway, it got put on the front page. And now over 1500 people have viewed my video....this is pretty crazy.

Depressed over final exams, I started to type a note in Word, and the annoying paper clip came to help me...

Things are looking up...maybe.

Received a very positive message re: The iPod Nano (almost makes up for the $150 I donked off playing poker today).

I was scammed....maybe.

So, I mentioned that I bought an IPOD on ebay. Well, it arrived today, and boy am I mad.

I read all the small print on the item page. I checked the seller's feedback (97% positive). And I still managed to get a fake ipod.

Here is the auction page. After a while, ebay takes down the page, so I have taken screen caps to commemorate the page...Screencap 1, Screencap 2, and Screencap 3.

So...I was so excited to get the package.

And when I opened it, I started pulling out piece after piece of IPOD branded stuff….headphones, lanyard, iTunes booklet etc…



Suffice it to say, I was shocked to find my “iPod”





There is hope….the seller does have excellent feedback, and I suspect it was just a mix up. The seller does sell this other type of MP3/MP4 player, and he may have gotten the two confused. He also wouldn’t have sent me the iPod attachements that won’t even work in the MP3/MP4 player he sent me.

So, I weighed in @ 205 today. For those keeping score I've essentially tied my lifetime high water mark. Making matters worse were the circumstances of the weigh in. I had lent Ya-Ting my scale (I'm not sure what she needed it for, but I think it involved drugs) and I headed over to her house to retrieve it. While we were there, we had a bet about who could guess the other person's weight. I guessed 97. She guessed 191. I was right. She was very wrong.

Anyway, take a lesson from me. Never weigh yourself with a cute petite asian girl. You will not leave with a good self-image.

The diet has begun.....Again.....and the yo-yo continues.

On the upside, I bought a Nano, and the Nike/Ipod kit to motivate me.



It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm desperate to start running again, and it may just get me motivated. I'll keep you posted.
