Japan Travels

Kyoto is the best spot in Japan. Lots of shrines, temples a d history. I am a little `shrined` out right now so i have the obligation to bore you. Tony is on duty with Joanne-- she never tires and yet I am exhausted. Her sore leg has sure slowed her down--NOT.Cherry blossom time in Japan is the national party time like Mardi Gras in New Orleans. We are several days early but already the festive atmosphere is everywhere. We had a fellow stop us as we pondered our directions and escorted us for 5 minutes or so to give us explicit directions--very friendly. Right now Toe a d Jo are hoofing it to Niho Castle and you can bet かくち

a,k,t,and steven: Wondrful place this Kyoto. Mom absolutely exhausted us yeaterday. Today Toe and I are doing a split shift with her to ease our burden somewhat. Off to several more shrines, the fish market, then "putzing" around, then a train to Nara in the late afternoon. Three days in Nara and vicinity then a stop at Nagoya-- expo-- than off to Narita for a flight to Singapore. Weather is now spectacular. Don't lie about Cayenne walking. Talk to you soon--Mom wants to get mobile. Pman

Does your phone card only reach as far as Port Coquitlam? We've been waiting by the phone since you left, hoping and praying you'd call us first. But I guess we're dog shit.

So much for the g-rated comments.

Anyways, sounds like you're all having a great time, and I'm sorry that tripping mom the first day didn't save you from all that putzing, Prec! Tony's a saint for putting up with you guys.

Love you and miss you,
